Very Important: there is a new national rule for 2022 onwards. All rider’s machines must have a working front and rear light, also the wearing of a helmet is mandatory it is quite simple: no lights or helmet no ride.

You may be aware that Wally has passed away recently after a short illness. Wally was a very valuable club member for many years, giving up his time to time keep and marshal at most of our club and open events. He moved to the Midlands from the London area and bought a wealth of cycle club experience with him. His wise counsel will be sorely missed and our condolences go to his family. The funeral will be at noon on August 10th at Bretby Crematorium.
You will be aware that traffic lights on the course caused the proposed event to be postponed on Tuesday. It is likely that next week, August 1st it will be too dark to hold a 25. I am looking into the possibility of holding an additional club 25 on the Yoxall course on Sunday morning at 9am on September 24th. As soon as this has been agreed I will confirm. For your diary please note that the Hillclimb is on the following Sunday at 11am
