Secretary’s brief December notes!
The clubrun on Sunday 17th. , weather permitting , will be to the mince pie and cake event at Rosliston leaving from the town hall at the usual time for a slightly circular route to Rosliston village hall.
Anne is running the two hour session at Derby Velodrome on Tuesday 19th. 12 till 2pm and there are spaces – contact Anne if you want to have a go, beginners welcome.
There will not be a turbo session on the 19th. We are holding the Christmas fuddle at the Henhurst Club – bring some food and come along for our annual get together.
Turbo session will start again in January, date to be confirmed.
Now is the time for all trophy winners from last year to bring their trophies back to me so that I can get them engraved for this years winners.
Dates:
28 January : 50 and 100K invitational club runs from the Henhurst Club at 10am with cakes afterwards
25 February: 50 and 100K invitational club runs from the Henhurst Club at 10 am with cakes afterwards
3 March: Annual prize presentation and buffet at the Henhurst Club 7.30 for 8pm
2018 Club events
I have requested a similar programme of Tuesday evening events plus a mid season 25 on a Sunday morning for the championship on the Yoxall course.
In addition I am hoping to run some evening 10s on a new course between Sudbury and Doveridge. These will be on Thursday evenings in mid summer if approved – confirmation as soon as approval is obtained.
