Majorca 2026 day 2

Malcolm suggested a route that was 67 miles and we thought that would be ok. As it turned out it was 84 miles but we did cover 3 big climbs and 4 cafe stops. Nice gentle ride out to Sa Pobla then to Bunyola where the real work started. First climb was the Col de Soller where we had lunch at the top and sheltered from a short rain shower. Then onto the Puig Major , this is an unrelenting 8.8 mile climb that you think you are going to heavon. But in reality it is hell. Eventually you get over the top next stop the Repsol petrol station for a much needed coffee and Kitkat. That just left the easier climb of Femenia and a quick descent back to Pollensa and then to Port de Pollensa

Majorca 2026. Day 1

The start of our 2026 Majorca trip. There are 8 of us this year and we decided to start off by having a trip to the velodrome where several riders had a ride around the track. Then to a nice cafe in the square where we lost Paul ( we did not know he had dropped his chain coming out of the Velodrome) he turned up after about 30 minutes. Then a nice ride back until the reed beds where it all kicked off. Speeds of 34 miles per hour where recorded on this section. We then stopped in Alcudia for a well earned beverage. Then back to base
