Mercia CC-Lloyds Cycles report 30.08.18
Mercia CC-Lloyds Cycles Under 10 rider Daniel Ward continued his battle for a top three finish in the Mallory Park Youth League Championship in Round 17 at the motor racing circuit. With George Cooper of Sherwood Pines Cycles From having wrapped up the Championship in earlier rounds and electing not to ride it was down to Ward to claim a top place finish. He didn’t disappoint always looking to be in the top three riders. At the finish he crossed the line in fine style to take first place from his main rival Rocco Schumacher. A deserved first place after a long campaign and overall second place in the Championship. Although not racing on the night, Mercia’s other Under 10 rider, Sam Parker, was fourth in the Championship in his first season of racing and must be very enthusiastic about the forthcoming cyclo cross season.
